The tournament has two sections: round robins and playoff. During the round robins, the 8 teams will be split equally into two groups in a randomized manner: Group A and Group B. Each team will then play against each other within the group one time and the total number wins/losses for each team will then be used to determine the playoff seedings. During playoff, the team with the best record in Group A will play against the team with the worst record Group B. The other teams will be seeded in a similar manner. The winning team will advance to the next round and the losing team will be eliminated.
